Deliverables

A CAM-I Interest Group will target results and produce implementable deliverables such as:

Blue book

Once an interest group determines the scope and purpose of their study, they typically create a blue book document designed to encourage best business practices. This internally published book covers the topics of interest to the members, concepts, and lessons learned. The blue book group collaboration encourages group cohesion, future research, and general member interest in Special Interest Group research and results.

Standards

Interest group standards provide a vocabulary of terms and conditions that establish a neutral format for programs, data, specifications and applications of protocols. All CAM-I industry standards are required to meet discipline specific requirements set forth by the CAM-I sponsored interest group and CAM-I leadership.
Methodology

Interest group methodologies are the product of developing an organized system of principles and philosophies from group experiences and insights. These methodologies are typically adopted and further developed by other interest groups and CAM-I members to create applicable best business practices. Such methodologies may include lessons learned, processes, concepts, and formulas.

Models

Models for analysis and various business functions, services and products illustrate interest group frameworks and representations developed through collaborative processes.

Tools

Interest group tools support the management and measurement of business processes with standardized indexes and analysis. Such tools directly impact the development of methodologies and practices that promote future best business strategies and production.

Training

Training provides valuable tips, techniques, illustrative real-world examples, exhibits, and best practices, for this forward-thinking, strategies, developments, and technologies.

Workshops

Various interest groups or members may sponsor workshops that focus on specific topics of interest to CAM-I. A CAM-I workshop generally lasts one or two days and encourages active participation from attendees through various exercises, presentations and facilitations.

Programs

CAM-I promotes innovative developmental programs that provide members with resources to encourage superior business performance. CAM-I programs focus on new product and process development studies, and are fueled by the presentations and notable discoveries of interest groups.

Benchmarking

CAM-I benchmarking is the process of measuring producers, services, and practices against acknowledged industry leaders. CAM-I promotes the ongoing benchmarking studies designed to improve the performance and knowledge of its members and focus on comparing best practices.

Professional  Networks

CAM-I allows interest groups to develop, continually share, and challenge their ideas within the professional network established by CAM-I members. Within this network there are many opportunities to seek out the advice and experiences of others members.
